This week saw Steve Levy continuing in great form against Ben Wilkinson to take his score to 3 out of 3 this season. David Archer managed to scrape a win over a much lower rated Arthur Doble who played his first game of the campaign. Cliff Peach and James Fowler opted for a draw after a long in-conclusive battle. James Schofield kept up his winning streak by beating Ken Ashby in solid style. After last weeks giant killing Alan Davies carried on in good fashion by outsmarting a tricky Roy Greenhalgh to claim another point. In other news the draw for the internal Cookworthy (Knock Out) cup was made and everyone was pleased that the two top seeds (Steve Levi and Dennis Cowley) will meet in round one. Sparks will fly.
