I THINK I've untangled it correctly. Because Gerard was black for both his Homan games against Arthur, the results matrix looks a bit odd - but it is correct. | |

OK, I imagine this is what happened. Steve's WhatsApp message giving me the result simply said "Gerard beat Arthur" without specifying colours. So I looked up colours on the first Homan game between Gerard and Arthur, determined that it was Gerard's turn to play white, and entered the result on that basis. Looking at the game, I think Gerard must have played with the black pieces again last night - in other words, they failed to reverse colours. Please can Gerard or Arthur confirm that this is the case, and I'll untangle it all on the website (which will be a bit tricky!) | |

Interesting game, i probably mixed up my opening, but after that it was even. I think the pawn capture on g2 changed everything, and in the end game i was just lucky. Thank you for the game | |
