Season Starts with a Casual Rapidplay Tournament
A warm welcome to Anthony Davies, a new club member, who joined us for the first time.
Several members were away on the first night of the new season - Thursday 3rd September - and the nine people present decided to spend the evening with an informal 9-round Rapidplay tournament - with 10 minutes on the clocks. Ben, who had the wit to Google "chess pairing tables" on his iPad, kindly did the organisation.
