Recording Pre-Arranged Games on the Website

We recently had a situation where a member recorded a pre-arranged game on the website, and assumed that his intended opponent would visit the website and notice that the game had been arranged.

This led to a discussion in which it was agreed that it would be useful if the website would automatically email both players whenever a pre-arranged game involving them has been recorded or updated. This feature has now been implemented. If you receive an email recording a pre-arranged game that involves you, then both your and your opponent can assume that by default the game date is agreed. If you are unable to play on the proposed date, please contact your opponent as soon as possible to arrange a different date.
