News of 2015-16 Competitions

Torbay League Fixtures

On Wednesday 23^rd Septemner, the Autumn Council Meeting of the Torbay League took place, with South Hams represented by Phil McConnell (as secretary of the Torbay League), Cliff Peach and Ben Wilkinson.

South Hams has entered teams into four Torbay League competitions:

• Division 1 (team captain Cliff Peach), where our opponents are Newton Abbot A, Newton Abbot B, Plymouth and Teignmouth
• Division 3 (team captain Phil McConnell), where our opponents are Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Teignmouth, Torquay and Torquay Boys' Grammar School
• Rapidplay (team captain Ben Wilkinson), where our opponents are Newton Abbot and Plymouth
• Knockout (team captain Cliff Peach), where we have a quarter-final draw against Teignmouth; the other clubs competing are Newton Abbot, Plymouth and Torquay and Torquay Boys' Grammar School.

Cookworthy Cup

On Thursday 24^th September, during the tea break, the draw took place for this season's Cookworthy Cup (the club's knockout competition). The top half of the draw in the main competition looks tough - see here for full details.

Homan and Dunleavy Leagues

With a packed future list, it is going to be a challenge for everyone to get all their games in the internal leagues played. Club members are encouraged to record their pre-arranged games on this website; the pre-arranged game that have been recorded can be viewed here.
