Barclay Best and James Fowler Reach the Cookworthy Cup Final

On 19th March, the semi-finals of the Cookworthy Cup were played.

Congratulations to Barclay Best who beat Clifford Peach, and to James Fowler who beat Ben Wilkinson. These results confirm what we already know - that in South Hams Chess Club, practically everybody is capable of beating practically anybody else on their day.

The final will be held over two games, with players swapping colours in the second game.
